Monitoring Sensor in Oil Field 24/7
In this project I worked as IT Manager to lead and supervised how to monitoring realtime data for 24/7
The Goals
The goal of this project is to monitor the condition of the oil pipeline 24/7, so we can understand any changes that occur in the pipeline based on time, environmental conditions, and weather at that moment.
Condition Parameters
To determine the condition inside the oil pipeline, we use parameters such as:
-
Temperature within the pipe
Continuous monitoring of internal temperature to detect anomalies
-
Pressure within the pipe
Real-time pressure readings to ensure safe operation
-
Ambient temperature
External environmental conditions monitoring
These parameters will continuously change throughout the day. Monitoring is necessary so that we can evaluate what actions we can take to prevent, address, and predict potential issues that may arise in the future.
Workflow
Sensor Installation
Deploy and configure sensors throughout the pipeline infrastructure
Data Acquisition
Collect data from sensors at regular intervals
Realtime Monitoring
Display live data on monitoring dashboards
Data Storage
Store historical data for analysis and compliance
Visualization
Create charts and graphs for data interpretation
Assessment
Analyze trends and identify potential issues
General Report
Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders
Project Outcomes
Ultimately the project was successful and still running to this day (12/1/2025). The system provides reliable 24/7 monitoring capabilities, enabling proactive maintenance and ensuring operational safety.
